Crossing Over

The city at the exact moment it wakes up.

A pedestrian crossing in early morning light, with long shadows stretching across the asphalt and only one figure mid-crossing.

The approach

I've always been drawn to the hour when a city is still deciding what kind of day it's going to have. The light is thin, the streets are empty, and the people you do see seem to be in on a secret. These frames are about movement, light and the brief moment between sleep and rush hour.
