Grey Water

The coast in its least forgiving mood.

A rocky shoreline under heavy cloud, waves breaking against dark stone with no skyline visible.

The approach

It took me a long time to stop waiting for the sunset. The coast is more honest when it's cold, grey and uncooperative. These frames were made on days when nobody else was there — just wind, water and the feeling that I should probably go inside.
